| Ichabod Crane, schoolmaster of yore believed in fanciful horror tales Those gothic stories of lore the ones with the boohs and wails He set his sights on marrying well he had his future before him Until like an unlucky spell he fell prey to the Headless Horseman On that fateful night he rode swirling fog and mist did surround His spooky fate he had sewed it was a trick but Ichabod was never found To this day, the Headless Horseman rides The Legend of Sleepy Hollow still abides |
