quatrain poem for the 13 Poetic Days of Halloween Contest

Norman Bates had some other names
Norma and Normal were others
Playing their roles was his sick game
he had issues with his mother

He was running the Bates Motel
trying to keep customers in
He startlingly fell into sin
and then it became motel hell

A deep descent into madness
a trip into shocking badness
People checked in, then disappeared
it became a place to be feared

But in the end Norman was caught
his sinister life lasted not
Insanity was his reason
he lost to his demons, but fought.
