Where's the maintenance/cleaning robot?Well?Whaddaya engineers have to say for yourselves? |
https://youtu.be/MGJpR591oaM?si=NyzZh8c0cRrWY_Fj My comment: Screw this AI/robotic "revolution" rubbish. Where's Rosie the robot from the Jetsons, dammit? All you tekkies have given us is the roomba—which is an awful vacuum cleaner—it's only useful purpose is as a prop for taking amusing cat videos. Why can't you put your damn efforts into a robot that can clean efficiently? Most people detest cleaning and all the "helpful" technology and computerized stuff that has been created just creates more intricate areas for dust and germs to accumulate in for us humans to clean! Cleaning is probably the number 1 job that is absolutely essential in every public and private sector for human health and hygiene, as well as environmental health—including clean water and air (think of all those filters, ducts with crevices, twists, and turns, plumbing tubes, water lines that accumulate biofilms, etc—all require so much maintenance and cleaning. Think how awesome it would be if you could actually design something to adequately and appropriately clean up an isolation ward at a hospital or a biolab? Most of the robot inventions and AI has just made humans into being servants for the robots as we have to clean and maintain them. I am not interested in serving the robots so they can do the fun jobs. What y'all think about that, eh?? |
