Meal Plans I have to go to the store. Not my favorite outing, but I do like to eat. Not cook so much, but you can prepare food fairly well with just a toaster and a microwave. Well, if you’re not picky about it. Truthfully, I really hate cooking. Yes, I could go to a diner or a coffee shop to eat. Unfortunately, also not into people much either. It’s amazing how many people try to talk to you at a diner. First, of course, there’s the waitress. The job requirements apparently include “outgoing.” However, being a waitress should not require not being able to keep your mouth shut. I just want food, but the waitresses at a diner seem to think chit chat will raise their tips. Except, of course, once you start being a “regular,” who doesn’t have enough money for a big tip. After that you practically have to work there just to get your order taken at all. And then there’s the other people. Some are quiet, but most just shoot off their mouths as if they’re on stage. It’s like having to watch somebody else’s TV. You don’t know the story or the plot but you certainly know what’s on the mind of the actor! I’m better at home with real TV. I have also tried the food busses at the park. After a short while you get tired of removing a bug from your mashed potatoes… I even got stung, twice! And then noticed the hive on the roof of the food bus! So, I cook at home mostly now. Change that to mostly “prepare” peanut butter and jelly sandwiches don’t actually need cooking. But the microwave does a decent job with frozen dinners. All in all, I stay healthy, that’s what counts, right? |
