Looking for Spirit/God? A little story about that.

Spirit, are you there?

I asked Spirit “why can’t I see you”? What do you mean? I am in plain sight and I am all the energies that hold you together.

“I don’t understand that, what you mean?” Spirit responds with I am everywhere, how can’t you not see me?

“When have I ever seen you”? I asked. When you looked for me. You are telling me that you look for me all the time? “Well yes” I said.

So you’re telling me you looked for me day and night? “Yes,” I replied. Then I don’t know why you can’t see me?

What do you expect to see when you are looking for me? “A bright loving light that shines so bright it’s blinding to me” I proudly stated.

That explains your problem. You don’t truly know me. I defended myself saying “that I have studied everything I can seeking spiritual knowledge, including religions. I pray and pray for enlightenment all the time so I can see you”.

I have granted that to you and everyone else since the beginning. “I am confused spirit! What am I missing”? I said, feeling frustrated now.

What if I told you that you already answered that question. “When” I said puzzled? In this conversation.

“I am sorry but I can’t understand what you’re telling me” I said. Why can’t you see what is right in front of you?

Maybe you will have to go deeper within to understand? “I don’t even know what that truly means anymore” I said in frustration.

I am within. Try harder. “I’m trying my best,” I said.

Maybe you should drop what you expect? “Spirit, why do you fight so hard to block me? I stated. I am not doing that, I promise you.

I asked “could get another clue? Another place to start”? Will you follow my instructions? “Of course,” I was excited now.

Try this: On a clear night (your mind clear also) go out and look up into the starry sky. Who am I as you look up into the heavens? “The creator of it all” I responded knowingly. Can you see me yet? “No God I can't,” I replied.

Do you really want to know now, or would you like to figure it out yourself?

Anyone who does not want to know yet don’t read on.

For those of you who don’t remember who you are I will tell you.

I said to you earlier that you answered why in your expectations. So now the same starry sky. I ask you how are you able to see it?

By the darkness itself you can see their magnificent light. If I was in the picture as light you couldn’t see anything because of the blinding light you described earlier that I am.

I became dark so you would all be able to see everything and everyone. In the sky I kept your past homes for you to remember them, and so that you would see all their magnificent light. Plus so you all would be able to see the magnificent lights that you are. If I shined to you in all my brightness you could never see yourselves.

Understand that I can’t make stars to be dark in a bright light. They would just be invisible because dark can’t exist in the light. However if I was dark they would be able to show off their own light instead. I want you all to see your own brilliant light.

So look up and see my art in the heavens. New creations are being born all the time.

Can you see me a little clearer yet?

I had to be dark in order for you to see your brilliance. I love you so much. It’s all so that you can see your own brilliant light as I hide in your heart.
