For the friends we chose to have but never chose to leave.

The rain came, dark clouds upon the sky
Then the winds blew; sky's now blue
Hard was the ice, cold as hell
Heat got hot, ice is now water
Darkness dominated; till light shed its brightening brighter brightness
Away went time, flew like it's on jets
Memories remain; bodies of buddies, but their souls are no more
