“Tell me,” said the Elephant

I wouldn’t reveal my secrets, no matter what.

“Tell me,” said the Elephant,🐘
“Why is your nose so small?
You can’t suck water from the ground;
It’s just a tiny ball.”

”I won’t reveal, oh Elephant,
My nasal secret, no.
Not till you lift a water glass
To even out the show.”

“Tell me,” said the Elephant,🐘
“Why is your skin so thin?
You can’t endure a mosquito bite
Much less a lion’s den.”

“I won’t reveal, oh Elephant,
My epidermal tale
Until you say exactly why
You’re manatee more than whale.”
