You were once hurt

Do you wish you were somewhere else
When you speak
You speak with life experiences
Write another word in your notebook

You don't want it to happen again
The room goes quiet
The memories are still there

You talk to someone else
Who went through the same things

No one knows your dark side
No one knows the pain you caused
Speak out
But when it happens
You back out
You get scared
Say too much
Mess up
Away from the pain
Away from the sorrow
Away from the abuse
