Many people believe that the elderly are baffled by modern technology. To them I say, “have you met my dad?” At 70, a gamer and our houses tech support, especially since my understanding is nil. A fan of science fiction, always wanting to know how their machines work, while I’m more interested in the story. Vigilant about what to answer or click, while I have to ask if I’m being scammed. Regularly wanting the latest, while I just want what can do the job. In short, while I am of a newer generation, my father is a true tech man.
