A poem inspired by Asheville in the late winter

Foothill mountain air soars through lungs
as it tears through souls.

Kudzu mounts the dormant woodland knolls.

Rainfalls wishfully,
with reason.

Listen...
The trout Lily whispers,
"trust the seasons."
