Questions I ask...and a few answers

(Just some thoughts that I am trying to process and perhaps put in the form of a poem. Not quite sure yet)

Questions

Why is there so much pain in the world?
Why does my heart feel so empty?
Am I truly going to go to Heaven?
Have I done anything in my life that is worthwhile?
What am I living for?
Is what I am living for worth Jesus dying?

I know that these thoughts are the work of Satan.
He is trying to make me doubt my self-worth.
Well Satan-you better be ready for a battle!
I may not be able to answer all the questions
But the ones I can answer,
I can answer with a resounding YES!!!

YES-I am going to Heaven
YES-I have done things in my life that are worthwhile
YES-What I am living for is worth Jesus dying because I am living for HIM
