With this recipe, there's no excuse for not having a turkey dinner!
Awesomely Easy Turkey Recipe
(Turkey in a Crockpot)

I've never been a great eater. It's not that I'm picky; I enjoy eating a variety of foods. I just don't enjoy the time that many of my favorite foods take to make, nor the messes made while cooking them. Because of that, I've always loved crockpot cooking.

Turkey has always been one of my favorite foods, but it takes so long to prepare and make. And, yes, there is usually quite a mess to clean up with a turkey dinner. Still, turkey is often quite reasonable to purchase during times other than Thanksgiving and Christmas. So I was thrilled to discover this easy turkey recipe.

This recipe is so easy, perhaps it should be called "The Bachelor's Turkey Recipe" or "The Single's Turkey Recipe." With this recipe, there's no excuse for not serving turkey dinner!

1 frozen turkey breast (frozen, not thawed)
1 lb. can cranberry sauce
1 envelope dry onion soup mix

Put all ingredients into crockpot for 2 hrs. on high. Reduce to low and continue cooking for 4-5 hrs. Slice turkey breast and serve with sauce. Makes 6 servings.

See? Isn't this a simple recipe? Personally, I might use turkey legs and thighs instead of a turkey breast. Other fruit sauces might work well with this recipe too, but to me, cranberry sauce and turkey are meant to be eaten together.

Cook and enjoy! And do be sure to write and share the results with me.
