My little girl
Brings happiness to my soul
A peaceful calm comes over me
No matter where I am or go

Listening to her laugh
Puts me on an emotional high
Discovering her new world
As seen through her eyes

You should see her smile
It brightens up my world
My beautiful newborn baby
My darling little girl

When I hear her cry
I begin to feel so sad
I have to think of what to do
That's part of being a dad

Even when she’s hurting
I hurt inside too
I try to make it better
So she won't feel blue

Watching her at play
No worries and care free
Beautiful thoughts light up my mind
Knowing she’s apart of me

Putting her to sleep
Making sure the blankets right
Sweet dreams my little Angel
Sleep well through the night

There is nothing to compare
In our existing world
The love I have and feel
For my precious little girl
