What is Man, that God is mindful of us? |
| "I am that I am." Mystical, perhaps. Grace and mercy I offer. Patient with the proud and strong; Gentle to the weak. I see glowing cities Made by hands with pride, Not from distant heavens high, But from the hearts where I reside, Forgiven and meek. Self does Man cherish, Pride, his deep tap root. His adventure, vanity. Romance is but a moment. His outcome seems bleak. Upon velvet pew You ask, “What is man, That thou art mindful of him?” My creation! Reconcile, Rose of Sharon seek.
