Spiritual poem encouraging one to listen to his or her inner voice. |
Mantra (03/23/2004) I become the mantra in your soul. I live within your spirit as you sit, legs crossed, fingers folded, eyes closed. You do not know, but this, the stream within your dreams, is me. You sit and simply breathe the air. You do not care. It's fresh and free of stress and you become aware that this clean break, this snow-white screen, this scene, serene, means all your boundaries are gone and nothing lies between you and your dreams, the good and bad, the right and wrong that you divided here some time ago, somewhere along this never-ending path. And so you drift past sensing to a higher place. Peace has swept with grace across your precious face. Your body and your lifted mind relax and here you find that nothing -- I mean nothing -- can be left behind, for all is one and altogether we are whole. You listen now in phase with Nature's harmony of falling water, orange blooms, and energy. Infinity in every limb, dimensions new and pure begin. Step into this! Beyond your prison, feel the bliss -- it's comprehension! Feel it in your heart and in your trembling hands! This is what it is to truly understand that we are small but full of dreams. We hope, but fear humility, until it fills us to the point where failure isn't worth the try. So fear, but do not fear that you will not succeed. Be humble and courageous and just be with me. I am the mantra in your heart -- just follow me with each new start and you'll be closer to your home within the whole as life goes by. |
