Your words
Have etched themselves onto my soul
They have splintered my heart
And bound it within their black embrace

I taste the blood
Of your wounds upon my tongue
And know the deeds of the self-righteous
Shall not go unrewarded

I open my mouth
And spew forth my anger
At the injustice of what
Has now become your life

Though my voice is rendered silent
By the mourning of the winds
This sleeping dragon within
Has truly been awakened

Although voices may be silenced
Surely know, written words shall endure
And in them to you I send
My all, dear friend.
