A poem about war and dreams |
| Endless eyes drift to sea Hoping to find a lost memory What is lost was never truly possessed But still it stings like acid on the flesh Now drift until the bleeding sky is calm For the world does not need a call to harm I ride the caving crests Into the auburn sunset Where lies your dark silhouette I ride, I drift, and I crash into your wall That’s filled with man’s lies that caused his fall Now I am the one who speaks the most lies But that is the reason I have endless eyes. |
