I followed the stars ten thousand miles,
Wandered the mountains of mockery smiles,
Dried the tears of those without hope,
Tied remorse into my burden rope.
But I failed.
Haplessly through the sea I sailed,
I waited for the waves to recess,
To put my heart at rest.
I wandered deserts with scalding sands,
I answered questions I didn’t understand.
Burned my feet crossing the highest dune,
Never to make it to the silver sky and the wavering moon.
My pilgrimage had one goal:
To find the missing piece of my soul.
I forgot my own name,
Light and Dark became the same.
I forded rivers faster then my heart,
I searched the starry skies for the missing part.
Still the elements were deceiving,
For all my pain I wasn’t believing.
The mountains would not whisper a word,
Their rivers song I had not heard,
The winds of the desert only cried,
The moon was forced to silence by its pride.
Still I continued down my hopeless path,
Still I faced the elements wrath.
I come to you without loss or gain,
I bring to you only Passion and Pain.
