Lily of the Valley

Amaryllis Convallary-Hastings-- Lily for short - is a graduate from the Horticultural Sorcery faculty of the elusive Invisible University, and is reknowned for her skill and bravery in the handling of "malevolent infestations of an organically inclined nature" - garden demons to you and me.

Bold, circumspect and erudite-- not to mention, strikingly pretty - Lily has all the right attributes for success, fame and fortune. But she welcomes the money and recognition incurred by her excellence at her job for one reason only: she desperately wants to buy back all the ancient family-homes so loved by her late mother which were lost in the repayment of crippling family debts.

Altruistic intentions aside, as she will nevertheless discover, fame and fortune come at a price, and one is liable to make enemies when ascending to the top of the tree.

All the other flowers are jealous of the only Lily in the Valley...
