For Lisa and those who deserve more recognition of their daily endeavors.

She who serves


"We can't see."
"We can't hear."
"Go get Lisa." we howl.

The picture's wiggly,
the caption's squiggly.
"Go find Lisa." we scowl.

Too many tables.
Too few chairs.
"Where is Lisa?" we cry.

The coffee's hot
the program's not.
"Oh, for Lisa" we sigh.

And should we say at end of day
when everyone's had their fun:
"Hurray for Lisa, well done!"

Our silence echoes reply.

Notes: Lisa Kring is a gracious employee at the Kansas Memorial Union at the University of Kansas. She is originally from Nebraska. She coordinates conferences. I've seen her everywhere with the audio video equipment. I'm sure most folk appreciate the job she is doing. But this is for the few who may need a reminder.
