I am a mother of 4, grandmother of 3 and I'm married to the best guy in the whole world! My life is shaped by severe mental illness which has left me isolated and in bed for about 15 years now. My husband takes care of me and my children are very supportive so I am luckier than most. Anyway, I loved to write poetry when I was young, and have recently been reminded of my affinity for this type of artistic expression when my 23 year old son (shown in pic at age 2) began to explore poetry himself. It re-sparked my interest and now we are writing poems together! Love my kids!
