This is Metal, forget the flamboyant solos, the image, the long hair and really listen to Metal and you will find St Anger. It shows just how spectacular and how powerful music really can be. Each song has a deep and powerful meaning inside that gives us an image of the emotions Hetfield was going through at the time of rehab and after. This album is not just one you will have in your collection but one you will find yourself exploring, you will keep listening to it and carefully listen every note, every letter and yet you will discover something new and pure about this album.

Putting on at anytime, it makes those rainy days fly buy and makes inviting people round for a laugh even more fun.

The opening riff to 'Some Kind of Monster' the power in it is fantastic.

The initial impact, it doesn't instantly attach to you. It grows on you and you will learn to love it.

Put it back on. The silence after is a thoughtful time when you think wow, infact it is one of the most silent silence's I rember, if that makes any sense.

Like I was on a rollercoster. A really big one.

It is fantastic.

It isn't Metallica best album, if you are going to buy any then get ones from the eairler days unless you already have them.

Unfortunatly this album is not for everyone, only Metallica fans and fans of the Metal genre should really buy this. However, if you do get this you will be left speechless, it is fantasic.
