Wealthly Oakdale socialite is found dead and it's up to Carly, Katie, and Maddie with a little help from Nancy to solve the mystery of who did it. There are a lot of twists and turns, which leave both Katie and Carly to doubt the men in their lives. Lots of good emotional stuff here, plus the murder mystery.

Fans of Oakdale and soap opera. It has a broad based appeal.

The beginning of the book. Starting with the murder and the arrest of Mike was a good action grabber.

Well, I wish there more citizens from the show involved.

It is easy to read, light, fun, and engaging. The writing is crisp and sharp.

The point of view narrartion shifts with the chapters and moved the story forward well. Elements of plot/pacing and storytelling were strong. The characterization was "spot on" with the characterization from the show. For me, this book didn't drag.
