Summary of this Book...
Did you know that the best painters went crazy because of their paint? This story, written as a coma diary, for the protagonist's husband, is incredibly dark with the light and quick writing come to be expected by C.P. A woman who has her whole life been able to see images from one particular place, comes to marry a man she meets at art school who was born there. He takes he back home and they start their not so wonderful life together. After thirteen years of marriage, her husband fails at suicide and ends up withering away in a comma. The island paradise that they were living on has gone to the tourists and mass advertising, and now everyone is looking at her to save the island with her art. They neglected to tell her that this had happened before or that when it did, the artist was tortured. Just when she thinks she has finally beaten the cycle she finds out that all her attempts to change it were in vain. The only thing she can do is make her diary public so that the islanders will never be able to do it again.
