Kyle McAvoy, a young law student on the verge of graduating, finds himself cornered by FBI agents. They proceed to dredge up an old rape accusation involving Kyle and a few old college buddies, but just when Kyle is at the end of his ropes, they reveal that they are not actually who they claim to be. Finding himself trapped in a blackmail rouse with no easy way out, Kyle becomes some shadow agency’s spy in a legal firm just as a major case breaks out. It takes a thorough study of every spy novel he can get his hands on and a bit of help from one or two friends before he manages to turn the tables on his blackmailers.
