So, Kate is a daughter of a Scott that moves here from Scotland to better his family, but his wife dies shortly after giving birth to Kate. That is the back story of the parents and the only back story on Kate until the night she meets her ghost, Houston, "soon to be husband" she knows nothing about. He claims her through a love scene in the cemetery. The brother to Houston , James, is in love with Kate as well and wants his dead brother to get out of the way so he can claim Kate as his wife, but Houston fights for her beyond the grave.
The reason Kate knows nothing about Houston is because her father struck a bargain with Houston for Kate. This is done in the old country and Kate is pissed when she finds out.
Kate falls in love with Houston, but what do they do about it? You will have to read it to find out. What happens to James? Like I said, I can't spoil the fun. You have to read it to find out.

Anyone interested in erotic novels, paranormal, Scottish history, westerns, and romance.

The paranormal aspect of it. The ghost coming back to claim his bride.

That James masturbated during the love scene. It cheapened the book for me. I didn't like that the history to the book was missing.

Take a break from reading for a couple of days, but I know that will never happen.

Is a talented author. She wrote very well and she should be proud. I just needed a little more.

It is undone. It is not complete.

I felt like it was rushed all through out the entire book. There is next to no back story on the parents and no back story on the heroine. Not only that, but the hero's in the book have no back story. They just all meet in one evening and there is love blooming between two people that never met before and it gets a little too raunchy for me during the last sex scene.
