She is in town in southern California looking for missing children. the other person in the book is Claire Gillespie who is a reporter
from New York sent to cover the story of the missing children.Between these two women stand an FBI agent named Da Sprague- he is torn by duty, loyalty, to one woman and an intense attraction to the other. ;Clair has evidence of a murder she believes Madden is a part of.
this is an intense and very interesting book.

upset because the children were missing, and apprehensive
over the relationships with Dan Sprague.

Taylor Smith is a best selling Author and I find her work to be top of the line.
