This is a book, sort of in scrapbook format, that I got from the used book place for about $3.60.

It has some interesting facts about Jane Austen, including that Mark Twain looked down on her writing and wrote some very harsh things about her. It turned out that he never read her work, which sounds like he is a bit of a jerk. He also loathed Edgar Allan Poe. Maybe it is a bit of jealousy there.

It is an interesting collection of facts about Ms. Austen's life and times and the way things were done back then. I am enjoying it a lot. It sells on Amazon for less than I paid.
