This is a short story collection of some of Joe Lansdale's earlier works, going all the way back 1982 with his story Fish Night. With 16 stories spread out over 369 pages containing, it's well worth reading this Bram Stoker Award winning author!

Anytime and anywhere reading! I've read several of his books before, and his writing style is very unique, regardless of what genre he goes for.

Jealous that somebody can wind up writing such wonderful stories over his lifetime, and he's still going at it!

Joe Lansdale has been writing books since the 60's, and he can write in almost every genre: mystery, comedy, horror, sci/fi, and even western. He's a 5 time Bram Stoker Award recipient, and has written over 30 novels and his work has been adapeted for the Twilight Zone and Masters of Horror. He's also written for Marvel and DC Comics, and is a 10th degree black belt.

Anybody looking for something to read, regardless of what genre they prefer (sans romance) would appreciate this author's sense of humor and writing style.

I've read several of Lansdale's novel and short stories, and I have yet to be disappointed. He's an extremely talented author, and his numerous awards prove that!
