Reporter Wendy Tynes targets a social worker, Dan Mercer, on her mission to bring down sexual predators. Dan had grown up in foster homes and had a heart for troubled teens. When a local girl comes missing, Dan is the suspect and from then on, the story becomes a roller coaster ride for both Wendy and the reader as things become more and more complicated.

Anyone who loves a good amount of twists and turns, will find themselves emerged in this suspenseful story.

I liked the message of forgiveness the author has carefully woven into this story. Forgiving is not always an easy fete and the author does a great job applying this challenge with more than one of his characters.

The reporter, Wendy Tynes, could sometimes be a bit annoying. I thought perhaps she lacked emotion in some instances.

I would definitely read another book by this author.

The ending really caught me off guard! And I suppose it makes one realize, people do make bad choices, even good people. This story also made me think about forgiveness and how it not only benefits the person who needs forgiveness, but the forgiver.

I recommend this book because there's never a dull moment between all the layers of suspicion, suspence, guilt, and motives.
