Willy and his wife Marianne have a old farmhouse in rural Maine. They're great to each other, than Marianne miscarriages their child and Willy struggles to help his wife with her grief, doesn't pay attention to his own, till a neighbor lends Willy a pram and suddenly the long walks to and from the grocery store grow weird. A baby crying, the weight shifting in the pram, the blood ritual.

Entertaining a very small only 58 pages but very well written, mystery somewhat creepy.

The story is told from Willy perception and that's what made it interesting, what would a man do when robbed with grief and confusion.

Such a easy, well thought out read. I think I enjoyed it more than I probably should of for its size.
