I wear many hats these days. I am a mother of three ages 11 to 15. I am married to a wonderful man who happens to be a pastor of our local church. To complicate all of that I own a franchised business that I run from my home. It is an internationally acclaimed program that teaches safety courses and seminars to parents and children. I volunteer within my church, community and schools. Then, if I find a little time where things are quiet I have started to write novels. Phew. |
So far I have written manuscripts within the women's fiction genre. I write from a Christian viewpoint. |
Aside from reading and writing, there is not much time in my days for interests but if I could fit them in they would be scrapbooking and early-literacy projects and teaching. |
I tend to select historical women's fiction but I am expanding my interests to include all areas to enhance my own writing. |
Lori Copeland' Men in the Saddle series. Tamera Alexander's Rekindled, Remembered and Revealed are my favorites. However there are so many good ones to list. Recently I read a revision and self-editing book by James Scott Bell that was fabulous!! |
Lori Copeland, Tamera Alexander, Susan May Warren |
I love all music really, though I tend to listen to Christian music the most. However within that realm I can cover from one extreme to the next. The cool part is my teens and I share pretty much the same music likes! |
I am a sucker for love stories - my family says, "Not another chick-flick!" |
