Generally in my imagination, but I'm Canadian.
About Me
Writing is my main ambition and I'm struggling to break into publication. I live in the country with my family. I'm the second youngest of five and have what you might call a 'strong opinion'. My favourite genre is fantasy, I enjoy writing about my made up worlds. Now and then I'll dabble into a different genre if I'm feeling ambitious. I spend most of my time plotting, bowing the violin, and counting beats as I aspire to be a musician.
Type of Writer
I'm a serious writer, and self taught (though with help from those on this very site). Always looking to improve.
Writing Style
I enjoy writing dark novels with a theme of hope shining through despair. Not into gore or steamy romance.
Interests
Besides writing, music is my main ambition so I take private lessons for violin - my favourite instrument. I am intrigued by Victorian gowns and aim to own some. I also draw, the drawing here is mine.
Group Memberships
I'm not big on joining things if I'm not sure I can keep up with them, so I am a member of very few groups.
Favorite Genres
Fantasy, action/adventure, and YA if it's with those genres, don't much care for Sci-Fi. But I'll read just about anything.
Favorite Books
I make no favourites. 'Favourite' is too inflexible a term. I either liked it, or I didn't. If I had to pick a book that really stands out to me, however, I particularly enjoyed 'The Great and Terrible Quest'.
Favorite Authors
J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis are definitely authors to look up to, and I have an admiration for Jennifer Nielson's style. Though like the above I make no favourites.
Favorite Quote
If you aim at nothing, you are sure to hit it. -Smart Archer
Favorite Music
Skillet, Newsboys, some Green Day and Three Days Grace, D, D=Out, Gotcharocka and Versailles... well, to sum it up, anything good. The list could go on forever.
Favorite Movies
How to train your dragon, Wallace and Gromit, The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader (I never saw any of the other movies). Dragon Heart, Lord of the Rings (The whole series). I'm not really into movies, actually.
Favorite Shows
Gilligan's island, the Beverly Hillbillies, Star Trek the Next Generation, Star Trek Voyager, M*A*S*H, and Onegai Kanaete Versailles. Not really into T.V., either.
