I have always loved reading and fiction writing. I've recently started writing for Examiner.com as the Northern Wisconsin Fishing Examiner. I wouldn't call it an actual "paying gig", but it is a lot of fun for me to combine writing with my other favorite activity. I work in the restaurant business, and have for most of my life. I have an MBA and love the business field, but my true love is writing. |
I love to write mystery/suspense, but I also like to try my hand at new genres. |
I write characters - or rather they write themselves through me. Life is full of characters, if you just look around! |
Besides writing, I love bass fishing, cooking, crocheting, quilting, camping, hunting, watching football and NASCAR, and music. I play guitar, drums, piano, clarinet, and trumpet. |

Mystery, suspense, thriller, sci-fi, fantasy, literary fiction, biographies, history and historical fiction.. |
The Reagan Diaries, Hannibal, and the Bachman Books (these are the last 3 I read or re-read). My favorite book is always the one I'm reading now. |
Stephen King, John Grishom, Billie Williams (my mom), Ann Rule, Patricia Cornwell, Dean Koontz, Agatha Christie, Edgar Allan Poe, Shakespeare (does he count in this category? ) |

I love all types of music. Anything from classical to rap. I'm not a big country fan, though, but I'll listen to it. Anything's better than silence |
Casablanca and All That Jazz... and anything with John Wayne... the English Patient, The Piano, Time Bandits - and old, old horror or gangster movies. |
