| I was born in the UK and, after a year living in Jakarta, Indonesia, spent the rest of my childhood escaping from reality in as many books as I could read. Moving to London to study Archaeology at UCL, I worked at the British Museum after graduating. Five years later I escaped to Devon, and I now live in a converted lunatic asylum on Dartmoor. I divide my time between writing, my work as a freelance proofreader and copy editor, and ghost hunting with a local paranormal research group. |
