My lil Miss Milly goes to the Vets tomorrow for that procedure~part of me doesn't want her to get it done-she's just so young, but the other half says it's being a responsible cat owner! ~dilemma Haha I had to come back and edit her name, I had typed Miss Missy instead of Miss Milly... *Worry*
It is indeed part of being a responsible pet owner. She will heal quickly. Youth is on her side. The Vet wouldn't do it if she was too young. I'll keep you both in my thoughts for a speedy recovery.
I remember taking my cat for this. The vet took her away and as I left I looked over my shoulder. Chloe was looking over the vet's shoulder back at me with big round eyes and I never felt so guilty in my life!! But for the best cause, of course!
