A Derg Joke
What do you call a boat full of vampires?
A blood vessel!

Do you know about the molting habits of Solar Dragons?
Let's shed some light on the situation.

A Derg Question
Why do so many spooks have to be shown as either malevolent forces or entities that are trapped until someone helps them "move on"? Why can't an apparition just exist as a friend? I see no reason why such beings would be incapable of understanding love, friendship, etc. What kind of things would you do with a friend from the other side?

Spud Author Icon - Dr. Ray Stantz encountered a very friendly ghost. Didn't look at all like Casper.

Humble Poet PNG - silent now. Author Icon - cool! I didn't know that.
I also wonder why ghosts are so often depicted as being white in colour. Are there any ghostly women who aren't wearing white? Long, white dress; wedding dress; long, white nightgown. Usually soaking wet and hitching a ride on a dark, lonely stretch of road. That's a too-common description. Why do we not hear about spectres of brightly costumed clowns? Why no young mothers, bestained after feeding or changing an infant? Why no naturists? I mean, they're generally healthy, but come on! None of them ever leave this physical world?

I actually know an entity who is trapped in this world until someone helps it move on. Me. I'm also aware that there are many people around who would love to help me 'move on' --- and a few who are actively working toward that goal.
I've just edited an item in my portfolio:

A Derg Comedy Video
This is a video of an America's Got Talent comedy routine in the tryouts. Even years later it remains one of my most favorite AGT comedy routines. PS. It might sound like the wrong video when you open the link but give it a minute to build up, the misdirection is part of the act. https://youtu.be/OxxVTBdtGhQ?si=6AcOUpt-z-tII-tC

In my humble opinion, you have achieved a state of nirvana. I envy you.
Humble Poet PNG - silent now. Author Icon - As a derg there are times that I think I do!
A Derg's Thankfulness
I want to say that I appreciate so many of you. My real family lives too far to see that much so I consider all my friends here at WDC as my second family. It feels so wonderful to be accepted here despite my eccentricities (especially the derg kind).

A great blessing to you all!
A Derg Question

Showcase

I want to showcase the Tubi streaming site/app. It has a surprisingly good collection of shows. The best part? You don't have to create an account to use it! All you have to do is go to the site in your browser and you can immediately start searching and watching shows! You also can make a completely free account if you desire which offers enhancements like keeping track of where you are in your show, allowing you to add shows to lists for future viewing, and a more personalized recommendation experience.

Here's a show on the site to try out:

Witness the classic stories of Eric Carle adapted for the screen, featuring the beloved Very Hungry Caterpillar and other magical tales.

No Sox with Sandals Author Icon - Yep. I use the Roku one myself.
Sadly does not work outside the US, at least for now. But since I am back until September I will have to check it out... Pluto TV is another great free service, as is Kanopy (available on line at your local library as well as Hoopla.
JCosmos Author Icon - Huh. Was not aware the service does not work outside the U.S. As for Pluto TV, that is my backup TV streaming app if I can't find anything on Tubi for my current mood.
A Derg Question
A lot of us tend to have a subject that we enjoy so much, it is more than just a mere hobby. What geeks you out?

Her massive body heaves as she groans in ectasy. She uses her giant claws to pick up the fox and hugs him to her swollen chest. "MMMmm. Thanks for the growth honey bunch!"

A Derg Question
Today is international Picnic Day! What would you pack in a picnic?

hot dogs, potato chips, pasta salad, juice boxes, and brownies
Spud  Author Icon
Cheese puffs, a big old thing of Powerade(blue flavor), thick slices of ham, bread and cheddar cheese and some raw cut vegetables like cucumber carrots and broccoli.

Considering I'd most likely be hiking to wherever, fruit for desert. Of course I'd also need an ice pack to keep it all chilled.
Whatever else I pack, I'd pack some ant traps. *Wink*
A Derq Question
The new How To Train Your Dragon movie is out. What dragon species is your favorite (besides Toothless). This can be any dragon from the movies or shows. If you don't remember the name you can describe it.

Do sheep use their own wool for earplugs?
Cotton is from plants. Sheep have wool. Hahaha!

Let me know if you want to edit this and need to know how. Though it may also draw more comments if you leave it as is. lol
Actually I think they use those little brown, round balls the rabbits leave behind.
I would assume so - After all, their own wool would be the most readily available solution.*Sheep*
