Feel free to click around and start looking for things that interest you. I recommend the Community Newsfeed, of course, even though most folks don't go there. Click Newsfeed, then along the top of your Personal Newsfeed, you'll "View the Community Newsfeed." Click that and you'll see what everyone is posting, not just your tiny corner of WdC. Scroll, Like, comment, and start making friends. When you see a person you want to keep up with, double click their plus sign until you see the megaphone.
You can also find things to do under the Community tab. There are contest, activities, and lots of things to do reviews of, if you'd like to earn some GPs (gift points--the WdC version of money). Blogging and some of the other activities are more great ways to make friends on here.
Get out there and start socializing. WdC is generally a pretty friendly place, but you do need to reach out to make friends because, as I said, almost no one will find you on the Community Newsfeed...as much as I try to encourage folks to check it out.
Anyway, welcome to WdC!
