Conceptionally I'm clear as to the imagery I want to create. Finding the perfect language to wrap it in is still the quest!

A nonsensical piece about the ins and outs of in and out.

Review of "Ins and Outs"

I must admit that I found this piece by accident and picked it because I wanted to read and review a monologue and there were only 3 Newbies to chose from.
I am really glad I found it! It was a fun read while at the same time encouraged me to do some thinking and ruminate with the author. He asked a lot of questions of the reader but not to deflect from offering his own opinon, but rather to create conversation and invite contemplation.
It has made me think of art and writing - finding a middle ground between my obsession and passion.

I have only be on WDC a week; still loads of things to learn, and that's one of the main reasons I wanted to participate in this activity.
I have no idea how to "tag" this item, let them know I've written this review, nor how to get to the place where this contest even is!

BUT, THAT SHALL NOT STOP ME FROM PUTTING THIS OUT THERE!
(Ask and ye shall recieve, right?!?)

Success posting at last! Better late than never!!

The quote is brilliant! I lived in London for years and know Blackpool well! I studied Argentine tango with my now ex husband for years (recently divorsed after 20 yrs of marriage). So cool u ballroom competed!!

I did review Leatherpalm's piece and rate it before I sent out my SOS.
The review is
3988536

I glanced over the answer you gave to my review problem and how to link my reviews to Newbie Academy... I'll need to study it after I've had a good night's sleep.

Thank you so much for all your help!!♥

I thought you'd like that quote. Love that you've been to Blackpool. At 16, it felt like a tacky Las Vegas. It was 1991. What's with all the flower faces on the light poles? Freaky!
I wanted to tell you that I am also a dancer. I trained in ballroom dancing in my teens, and even competed in Blackpool, England at the International Blackpool Ballroom Dance Competition at age 16.

My studio had a quote painted on the wall "Technique without art is meaningless, Art without technique is bad dancing." Love it!
