| I took Vacation or break and am now having a difficult time getting back to writing. I seem to have no interest at all - very unlike me. |
| I've been taking pity pills for 3 days now. Just getting my health back in order and really finding it distasteful for me to be so down. Out went the pills this morning and today starts another of those chapters that one labors over and such a pretense of well being to guide you down that path. Just remember, it is all needed. LIfe is a process and we really must live and endure that process. As 99 percent of other writers (such as yourselves) I'm tossing ideas, making up tales and trying not to blossom into a full rate liar. One sometimes is fond of saying "I know myself best" - Whoa, if that is the truth, then pick up the bent bucket and start swinging, you are better than any pretense you live with. Several things are going on with me just as with everyone else. My goal for this next week is to say this out loud. Throw out the pity pills and become friends with that quirky, little woman cowering inside yourself at the moment. Remember when we were obnoxious in school and we ended a the blackboard writing "I will write down my thoughts today" - Write a notebook full if it helps you. Thanks for listening - gotta go right now and find this quirky woman who can do most anything she wants when she leaves those pity pills gone. |

| Perhaps 4 or 5 years ago, someone had a novel writing class. It was structured, well done and a wonderful tool by which you could become involved in the writing. You began with the basics and each week developed more and more.. I don't have the knowledge or whatever to do the class but I would contribute up to 50,000 gps to help someone get started If anyone in the system remembers this Novel Writing 101 class and would like to develop something similar, send me an email and perhaps someone could get something started. The Exploratory Writing Workshop is offered pretty much every term. Reeling in Your Readers, a basic fiction writing cours, is offered every one or two years.
