So, apparently, I have a paid subscription, and I happened to find a notebook with written poetry the other day.
I recently received feedback for my western, "One Man's Revenge," to break it down into chapters. Please feel free to give feedback

I think it would be easier to read as chapters. If that's not possible each chapter (short or long) could be numbered. The Western genre is underused here at WDC, so it may need more promotion to find folks who read westerns.

I will be working on my book 17 Stories this week, as there is no continuity. Also, in my binder of 17 Stories, I found what looks like the beginning of a third book.
I just put an excerpt from my book 17 Stories in my portfolio. Feel free to leave feedback.
I put my western to the side for a bit while I get everything that was on paper for 17 Stories from paper to Google Docs.
I found 21 pages of writing of 17 Stories today, July 31st 2024.

I have so much stuff hidden here... and there... I could use a secretary just to find and catalogue it all. Been re-reading old works and even edited a couple. Hope there are some gems among the stories. *Gemg*

You said you're looking at research material. May I recommend Ken Burns' series The West (1996)? Incredible and accurate and it has helped me with my own Western writing. That and Roger Norris-Green's works. (FWIW, Johnstone's work annoys me.)
stevengepp - I looked up both and saw that the books, (on eBay at least) are well priced but there’s only three of them and the shipping costs are ridiculous. You end up paying more for shipping than the book itself. Ill look around some local bookstores and see if they have any of those books.

I've added some thoughts on the book as I am away from home right now, plus I can’t find the binder with the writing in it.
I've been working on this book for the better part of 20 years. The premise of the book is in the description. I have to find the binder that the writing is in.
I’m wondering if I should try to put my poetry that I actually wrote on paper here. I just know that I will end up changing things or rewriting the whole poem. I know my work is safe here but I just wonder if rewriting is a normal thing when you move poetry from paper to online. Thoughts?
Rewriting is normal.
I found some poetry on my iPad. Ill be looking in my notebooks for more.
