Happy Thanksgiving to all my WDC friends! I hope your day is full of family, food, and laughter even if you don't celebrate this particular holiday.
So, I just registered for my first writing conference. I'm going to attend The RMFW Colorado Gold Conference in September. I signed up for a pitch session, and I will audit a critique session. I'm nervous to walk in alone, but I'm excited to meet other writers from my little corner of the world.

I think so too, Laura. There's a number of sessions that sound interesting, in addition to the ones I signed up for, and I'm excited to see what the local writing community has to offer.
