Chapters 4 & 5 have been uploaded finally

Even if it's a first draft, I tweaked these two chapters too long.

Iโ€™m facing a challenge to be honest. And I dunno if my narrative will work. You see, in my WIP novel my protagonist is a cop and throughout the story faces several antagonists, and not just one that is overall, that furthers his character development as well as lulls in between to build relationships with the other characters. In my head, these mini antagonists are separated in โ€œarcsโ€ that make up the main story. Iโ€™m starting to become unsure of this route and would love advice to whoever sees this. Idk long post for a first post.

This can work - there are pulp fiction fantasy books and countless TV series that follow this route - but if it is to be one book and not an anthology of short interconnected stories, then the main antagonist needs to be present in all of them.
