This is wonderful poem. We all have one such extended family member dear to us. The language is excellent with a positive note with a touch of appropriate melancholy. One of great poems I came across in recent past. Thanks for sharing

The description of the event is thorough. But because of the short length of the story, I uam unable to understand what the author is trying to convey. I myself am a new writer. So trying to understand different writing styles.

The story started on very positive note. May be you can add on more incidents to the story. By way of Alex the story shows that there are good people in this world who go above the call of duty. I am also a budding wrirer. Hence it is also hard for me to go beyond a few paragraphs. But we can try. Good story. Keep writing.
