Review of The Sound  Open in new Window.
Rated: 13+ | (5.0)
Again, another amazing story from you! You are probably one of the most gripping and talented writers on this whole website. I love how you kept the element of the unknown in there - we don't know what the sound is as well as the character... and we STILL don't know by the end! It's killing me, I really want to know what it is!

Another flawless story from you, and another five stars. You're currently my favourite author on this site.

I agree with this so much, especially the part about when to use a comma. One of my pet hates, I mean something I REALLY HATE, it seeing sentences with pointless commas in, for example, "I went to the shop today and I bought, a load of bread." WHY is that comma there? It doesn't need to be there!

Another grammar mistake that annoys me most of all is the use of 'there / they're / their', and 'you're / your'. It isn't very hard to understand that the apostrophe means that a letter is missed out, that a couple of words have joined together to form one word, therefore 'they're' means 'they are', not 'they're coat' or 'they're phone'. 'You're / your' is the same - I hate seeing people say things such as 'your annoying.' It just isn't right and it should be something that everyone learns from an early age - I sure did!

Just thought I'd share my opinion with you!

Review of Trick or Tweet  Open in new Window.

I only have one thing to say - I love this story!

When I saw how long it was when I started reading it, I thought 'I'll just read a little bit of it and bookmark it so I can read the rest tomorrow.' but I couldn't stop reading until the end. You have such an amazing imagination - I would never even be able to think of an idea like this. I love how you've gone through every year individually, and created new technology - even a new name for the USA. I also like the fact that you've made things totally different, like a female President for example, or even total unimaginable - like a chip inside your head or even an injection into your blood stream.

There are moments that lifted me up, made me happy to read, and other moments that made me feel so sad, even scared for what may come in our future. It really makes me think about how advanced the technology will really be in even just 10 years time, and what kids of my own might grow up with in the future.

I don't think I can see a single flaw in this story. It's perfect, which is why my rating is five stars. Thank you for writing such a great story and keeping me entertained for half an hour or so!

Have you thought about entering something like this into the Twisted Tales Contest?! It shocked me so much!

When I started reading this story, I wasn't sure about what my opinion would be if I continued reading. However, I did continue, and oh, how glad I am that I did! I was fully drawn into the plot almost right away. Not many stories create imagery in my head; only certain stories have me imagining the settings, scenes, characters and voices; and this story was one of those. It is so well written and developed. I can't wait to continue reading - it's saved in my bookmarks so I can come back for more!
