My grandma has alzheimers too, it robs the person and the family. The best thing to remember is when you were a toddler those souls looked after us with care and love and now that foggy minds steal their thoughts we must return that love. I have strong feelings about the elderly. :)
I read your piece twice it was wonderful. It is a heart-breaking reality for many. It's never easy to see your loved ones fade away like that. Cherrie
I liked the format of the poem, it kept the pace of the piece and propelled the reader on. Your images were clear and crisp. You let your story tell itself, if you wanted you could let this poem be the start of a bedtime story.
This was a wonderful piece of personal sentiment, images of the moment, written with some historical figures and facts blended into a final farewell.
A letter is a great way to tell a story, I liked it very much.

we can learn more about life from nature than anywhere else. My favorite line was ...Over time, by its will, it shall rebound. Once more it will grow and take up the fight as all living things must. .. wonderful poem I enjoyed the flow and the rhyme that you used to deliver this message of hope.
I liked how the mysterious man appeared and vanished with little explanation.
Great snap shot of a moment in time, a campfire story if I ever heard one.

I like it. The song has a good flow and i can hear the beat set to it, I do feel you should rethink lines 3 & 4 for V2. Something more metaphorical. But with that said, I liked it.
