This was very well written and your longing for relief from troubles. I could almost feel your desperation. I absolutely loved your picture in words of the 'wood and stone being no respite from flesh and blood troubles'. I can't say I agree that nature is no shelter for human sorrows for this is where I find myself, with camera in one hand and my Bible in the other, and truly I am swept away by peace like a soft wind blowing me to my knees. This was a great read and thank you for posting.
This was great and I truly appreciate the wonderful points yo made regarding where true happiness is found.I agree with you totally. Happiness is not found in things, it is found from within and it is definitely a choice. One that each individual person must make for themselves. I liked the way you gave several scenarios of searching for happiness. I would rather find happiness in a buckboard wagon for sure. I also see the road to happiness in enjoying life's journey, not always racing towards the destination without slowing down to smell the roses. Thanks for this great post!
