In this moment in time of doubt
should I write only a few lines,
or maybe to use my esoteric words
like poets with Master of Fine Arts.

That simple until their poem imparts
scant meaning coming rather absurd,
expressed single my poems suffice
sometimes a compact poem shines.

I strive to tell a simple story,

watching Hachi a movie
from this great story.

For nine years he sat
at these station doors,
so patient and so loyal
masked heart in turmoil.

Waiting a friends return
in their reunion up above,
but I feel he was teaching
in this greatest story told.

some advise to my teenagers,
take time to smell the roses
and time to count the stars.

With this give a kiss or hug
time to talk about the scars,
away from fast cars and bars
and from the cheats and liars.
