This resonates. As someone who also suffers from deep depression, I have written of similar feelings often, I always go to ice, glacial, in terms of temperature and time, as time modulates and warps in my episodes. I believe you are striking at the same nail here.

the uselessness, the abandonment of hope, I feel it in every line of your work here. Brilliantly written and painfully evocative.
