I agree 100%. I had a lot of the same problems. I drank, and was hooked on pain pills for awhile. I understand that they're physical dependencies that form, but you cannot simply choose to not have cancer anymore. You can choose not to drink though. With a lot of support I decided to stop taking pills and stop drinking. It wasn't that simple but that is how it works. The withdraws were horrible and I still suffer some later side effects from the abuse (memory problems, depression) but I am healthy and clean. I think you really nailed what you were going for in a well written article. Good job, keep writing!

This was a really good story. Well, beginning of a story. It was straight forward and direct. I liked that. You introduced the character who presents himself and give off his personality right off the bat. He seems to be a strong, direct character whose not afraid to ruffle some feathers in order to get things done. I really enjoyed this. Good job, keep writing.

War is such a cruel thing sometimes. We always think of past wars and never realize that ones being waged today are being fought for the same reasons as they have been to years and years past. This was a great poem, really made me think. Good job, keep writing

This was good. I'm a fan of reading anything mythical like that so I really enjoyed this.
I wish I could have known the main character a little more, but we met her in the midst of all this terror going on so there isn't much time to slow down and give her a back story.
Please continue writing and let us know how this story plays out. Why was the dragon there? Where did it come from? There are a ton of questions I have and I just want to keep reading!
